The mechanism to set the time did not work so I was stuck with the wrong preset time. Then, a couple days later, the watch died altogether. I agree that the watch is pretty but am very disappointed with its immediate demise.

This Timex Watch is beautiful. It is a nice combination as a useful and practical watch and still looks dressy and can be worn for evening. I was looking for a watch that had a face that lighted up but I failed to see that it did not have the date on the face. This would be the only negative point for me. If this is not important to you, it is a perfect watch.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a nurse. I liked the feminine look to the watch and the indiglo light was perfect.
